About Jincheng
Jincheng, in the southeastern corner of Shanxi bordering Henan Province, is the home of the 5A-rated Imperial City Xiangfu (Huangcheng Xiangfu) and the 1,400-year-old Yangcheng Ming-Qing walled village cluster. The prefecture is in the southern Taihang mountain range with 63 A-grade sites - the most of any Shanxi prefecture - including the Manghe River red-rock gorge, the Wangmangling Cloud-Top viewing platform, the Haihui Temple cliff-pagoda, and the Yangcheng Shengchi Mountain. The area is the historic home of the Taihang mountain culture and the 'Jincheng Grand Courtyards' UNESCO candidate site.

Imperial City Xiangfu (Huangcheng Xiangfu)
A 5A Qing-dynasty mansion-mountain fortress in Yangcheng county, the 1.4-km2 complex of Chen Tingjing (the Grand Secretary of Kangxi's reign). The 16-courtyard complex has 640 rooms, the 100-meter 'River of Fortunes' stone carving wall, the 5-meter-tall kangxi calligraphy 'Pangu' tower, and the original Chen family ancestral temple. Manghe River Scenic Area

Wangmangling Scenic Area (Lingchuan)
